Two French small swords without scabbards. The first an officers epée after the pattern of 1817 with grip in mother of pearl, guard decorated with trophies and a cock standing on a globe marked LIBERTY, c 85,5 cm long double edged blade marked on one side MANRFR. ROYALE DE KLINGENTHAL and NOVEMBRE 1825 on the other. The second an all brass hilted epée for the guard of Paris with a ship on the guard and a c 86 cm long double-edged blade marked GARDE MUNICIPALE DE PARIS 29 JUILLET 1830 as well as COULAUX FRERES KLINGENTHAL..

Condition

The blades dark and spotted.
