Jørgen Jensen (b. 1895, d. 1966)
An early silver tea and coffee set with hammered surface. Comprising a teapot, a coffeepot, a creamer and a sugar bowl with cover. Finials in the shape og stylized flowers. Tea- and coffeepot with ebony handle. Made and marked by Jørgen Jensen, Sweden with date letter X7=1924. Total weight 1350 g. H. 8–18 cm. (4)
Jørgen Jensen who was the oldest son of Georg Jensen had his own workshop in Stockholm from 1923–1936. He later was employed at Georg Jensen's Silversmithy in Copenhagen.
Condition
Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks, a few minor dents. Coffeepot with gap between handle and upper joint.
